LJP vs LJP: Chirag Paswan meets EC

As factions in Lok Janshakti Party continue to battle for the throne, a 5-member delegation led by sidelined leader Chirag Paswan of Lok Janshakti Party met Election Commission on June 18. Soon after the meeting, Chirag Paswan said that Election Commission has assured them that if anyone tries to prove claim in the name of LJP, they will be given chance to provide evidence. “In 2019, I was elected as LJP president for 5 years. EC has assured us that if somebody tries to prove claim in name of LJP, we will be given chance to provide evidence,” said Junior Paswan.
