Villagers repair road on their own in J&K's Udhampur after their plea falls on deaf ears

Locals in J&K’s Udhampur district are engaged in repairing a road themselves. The road has been affected due to landslides. “We are facing problems in travelling, especially with the children. We need to travel every day for fodders. Leave vehicle, not even children can pass through. We have informed the authorities but no one has come to repair the road” said a local. “We are facing problems due to these bad road conditions. Neither children nor vehicles can pass through these roads. We have informed the authorities but none came,” said a local.
