Students express joy after interacting with PM Modi, call it ‘once in a lifetime opportunity’

Prime Minister Narendra Modi surprised a virtual session with CBSE 12th Class students and their parents on June 03. Recently, Central Government has called off the CBSE Class 12th examinations, owing to COVID pandemic. He interacted with class 12 students in view of the cancellation of the CBSE Class 12 board exams. Students got excited after meeting with PM Modi and having a one-to-one conversation with him. One of the students from Guwahati, Vidhi Choudhary said, “We and our family member are thankful to Prime Minister Narendra Modi for his ‘student-friendly’ decision and for the way the PM encouraged us. It was indeed, a great opportunity to have one-to-one discussion with him.” A class 12th student from Panchkula, Hiteshwar Sharma said, "PM sir asked how I was feeling after exams were cancelled. I told him that initially, I didn't feel good about but then I realised nothing is more important than health." Arni Sable, a Class 12 student from Indore said that it was once in a lifetime opportunity for her to interact with the Prime Minister and called it an unforgettable moment. “It was a very different experience and a once in a lifetime opportunity for me. We did not know that the Prime Minister will be joining the meeting. We thought that our opinions will be taken over assessment," Sable said. "We were surprised and shocked when the Prime Minister joined the meeting. It was an unforgettable moment. It was fruitful. He motivated us for our future," she said. Another class 12th student Chitrakar Thepra from Coimbatore said, “I am pleased to be part of it. My excitement level was on the roof and obviously, it was a great moment to have a conversation with PM Modi.”
