Ahead of Uttar Pradesh Assembly polls, Congress General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi released 'Women's Manifesto' in Lucknow on December 08. While addressing the press conference, Congress leader said that women representation in politics will be translated not on papers but on ground. “We gave 40 per cent representation to women (for UP Assembly polls) so that their empowerment doesn't remain confined to paper. When women will truly be a part of politics then it will be translated on ground not on paper,” she added.
