Amid the ongoing protest by the wrestlers, BJP MP Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh on May 31 said that the wrestlers immersing their medals in the Ganga would not make the court "hang" him. On the other hand, Rajya Sabha MP Kapil Sibal questioned the government saying whether POCSO, immediate arrest do not apply to Singh because he’s a BJP MP.
