Covid fatality rate low in Karnataka, says Deputy CM

Karnataka’s Deputy CM Dr CN Ashwath Narayan expressed his concern over the current pandemic situation and said, “All Covid-19 deaths have been reflected in the numbers published. The fatality rate in the state is below the national average. The government has constituted an 8-member committee to conduct genome sequencing and for serotyping.” The state had 2,25,025 active cases as of June 9.
