<p>Mexican Police have arrested a woman named Aurora Phelps (43) for allegedly drugging and then robbing numerous elderly men for three years in <a href="https://www.deccanherald.com/tags/las-vegas">Las Vegas</a>.</p><p>According to <a href="https://www.deccanherald.com/tags/fbi">FBI</a>'s Las Vegas division, Aurora used dating apps to seduce, drug and rob men between 2019 and 2022.</p><p>According to a <a href="https://nypost.com/2025/02/21/us-news/vegas-vixen-drugged-robbed-men-in-deadly-3-year-romance-scam-fbi/" rel="nofollow">report</a> by <em>New York Post</em>, Special Agent in charge of the FBI’s Las Vegas division Spencer Evans said, "This is a romance scam on steroids. We believe Aurora Phelps deliberately and methodically targeted older men to drug them and steal from them."</p><p>Now in custody, Aurora is facing 21 charges including identity theft, abduction resulting in death and wire fraud, Sue Fahami, an acting US Attorney for the District of Nevada said.</p><p>Some of Aurora's fake identities included names like - Flores, Velasco, Alvarez - using which she lured men who were in their 60s and 70s.</p>.Nigerian suspected of being drug peddler beaten to death in Bengaluru.<p>The FBI said that she also deceived younger men and sometimes women too.</p><p>According to <em>NY Post</em>, Evans said, "Once she incapacitated her victims, Phelps stole their cars, accessed their bank and brokerage accounts to withdraw cash, used their credit cards to make a variety of purchases, including luxury retail goods and gold, and even attempted to access their Social Security and retirement accounts (sic)."</p><p>Evans said that one of her victims who had awaken from a coma after Aurora had given him sedatives for about a week.</p><p>On her <a href="https://www.deccanherald.com/tags/tinder">Tinder</a> profile under the name 'Sisy', Aurora had mentioned - "I am looking for friends.
