Prime Minister Narendra Modi will kickstart the Lok Sabha election campaign in Karnataka by addressing a massive rally in Hubballi on February 10.

Modi will visit the state again on February 19. However, the venue of the election rally will be finalised soon.

Addressing reporters after a meeting with various party functionaries to discuss preparations for the Lok Sabha polls, BJP state president B S Yeddyurappa said the state unit wants Modi to address one more rally in the last week of February.

BJP national president Amit Shah will make visits to the state – on February 14 and 21 – and will be put in place of a micromanagement strategy for the big fight.

This apart, the party will be launching a campaign ‘Mera Booth Sabse Mazboot’ (my polling booth, the strongest)” from February 26 wherein party workers will reach out to voters at the booth-level. In March, party workers will hold bike rallies at the taluk-level and launch a publicity blitzkrieg on the achievements of the NDA government during the last five years.
