2019 Modi govt will throw intruders out: Shah

Last Updated 14 February 2019, 19:28 IST

National BJP president Amit Shah said that if Modi government comes back to power in 2019 it will ensure that from Kashmir to Kanyakumari and from Gujarat to Assam all the insurgents are thrown out of the country.

Speaking at a ‘Intellectuals meet’ organised by BJP on the out skirts of Hosapete in Ballari district here on Thursday, he said for majority of the political parties the insurgents might be vote bank, but for BJP the intruders are national threat and nation’s resource depleaters, who have no right to live in India.

For the last 70 years, our country has become a safe heaven for the intruders. And when Assam government identified 40 lakh intruders the entire opposition parties stood by their sides as if these intruders were their cousins, he said and added that they would go ahead with the National Citizenship Rights.

He also claimed that it was for the first time in 70 years that 50 crore poor Indians are feeling the joy of independence as they have been touched by one or the other schemes of the Union government. He gave details about the Jan Dhan, Ayushman Bharat, Mudra and other schemes of NDA government.

Vishakanta CM

Acknowledging that it might be their (BJP’s) mistake that today Karnataka has a chief minister who has the least seats, while the BJP which has the highest seats are sitting in the opposition. “It is shameful that a chief minister says that he is indebted to Congress president for making him chief minister and not to the people of Karnataka,” he said.

Shah also asked Kumaraswamy not to compare himself with Vishakanta, as Lord Shiva drank poison for the benefit of world, where as Kumaraswamy is drinking the poison of corruption of both (JD(S) and Congress) the parties to stay in power.

He also claimed that in the 14th Finance Modi government has provided Rs 2.12 lakh crore to Karnataka, where as the previous UPA government gave only Rs 88,000 crore to the State. “Yet, AICC President Rahul Gandhi and Kumaraswamy asks what has Modi government done for the State.”

CPRF jawans killing

Shah said that today he would not make any comment on the coward killing of CRPF jawans in Kashmir by the terrorist organisations backed by Pakistan. “After Uri killing, the Indian army gave a befitting reply to Pakistan’s misadventure,” he said and added that today it is time for the entire country to stand with the soldier’s family.
