Technology companies Amazon, Dell, Portronics, Lava International Ltd and more launched computer monitors, a smart TV projector, a smartphone, accessories and more this week (October 27-November 2, 2025).

Amazon Fire TV Stick 4K Select

The new Fire TV Stick 4K Select is powered by Amazon’s new Vega OS, which is purpose-built for Amazon devices. The all-new streaming stick also comes with a 1.7GHz quad-core processor, the fastest for any Fire TV Stick in India. It promises faster app launches and smooth navigation.

It is compatible with any TV featuring at least one HDMI input that supports HDCP 2.2 content protection standards. Customers can upgrade to 4K streaming without replacing their existing setup. With support for 4K Ultra HD and High Dynamic Range (HDR) 10+, Fire TV Stick 4K Select delivers sharp and rich picture quality.

It supports all popular OTT platforms, including Prime Video, Netflix, JioHotstar, YouTube, Zee5, and more.

Also, Fire TV Stick 4K Select is the first streaming stick in India that comes with the Fire TV Ambient Experience, providing access to 2,000 pieces of museum-quality art and photography.

Customers can turn their TVs into art displays by tapping the Alexa button on their remote and selecting ‘Ambient Experience’ from the shortcuts panel, or simply asking, “Alexa, launch Ambient Experience”.

The all-new Fire TV Stick 4K Select is available for Rs 5,499 on Amazon, Flipkart, Blinkit, Swiggy Instamart, Zepto, and offline and online stores of Croma, Vijay Sales, Reliance Retail, and more.

The new Lava Shark 2 sports a 6.75-inch HD+ (720 x 1600p) LCD screen with 120Hz refresh rate. It also features triple slots ( for two nano SIMs and a microSD card), a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, a 3.5mm audio jack, and a speaker.

It is powered by a 12nm class UNISOC T7250 octa-core processor with Mali-G57 MP1 GPU, Android 15 OS, 4GB RAM, 64GB internal storage (expandable up to 2TB), a 50MP main camera with LED flash on the back, an 8MP front camera and a 5,000mAh battery with 18W charger.

It is available in two colours-- aurora gold and eclipse grey -- for Rs 6,999.

On the occasion of Karnataka Rajyotsava 2025, India’s leading electric two-wheeler manufacturer, Ather Energy, has launched Kannada language support on the Rizta Z dashboard via OTA update - a first in the Indian two-wheeler industry.

The new printers boast of Epson’s Heat-Free technology. It promises consistent, energy-efficient performance with lower power consumption and reduced environmental impact.

The new printers can produce up to 8,500 pages (black) and 6,500 pages (colour) per refill. Also, they promise low-cost printing starting at 13 paise (black) and 43 paise (colour) per page.

As far as the connectivity is concerned, it supports USB port, Wi-Fi, Wi-Fi Direct, and Ethernet for flexible use with smartphones, tablets and computers.

The L6360 is priced Rs 28,999, the L6370 model costs Rs 30,999 and the L6390 is available for Rs 33,999.

The new Prestige NutriMate mixed grinder is powered by a high-performance 400W motor that delivers smooth and consistent results.

The new FE 100mm F2.8 Macro GM OSS can deliver an impressive maximum magnification of 1.4x, allowing users to capture flowers, small objects, and other close-up subjects with striking clarity—revealing fine textures and intricate details often invisible to the naked eye.

The optical design effectively positions elements, including two XA (extreme aspherical) lenses and two ED (Extra-low Dispersion) glass elements, to achieve high-resolution performance from the centre to the periphery of the image, reducing chromatic and other aberrations.

Dell Plus series full HD and QHD display monitors

The new Dell Plus series comes in 24-inch and 27-inch sizes with full HD(S2425HSM / S2725HSM) and QHD (S2725DSM / S2725DC) display panels.

With AMD FreeSync technology, the new monitors promise smooth and tear-free visuals with a 144Hz refresh rate and 1ms MPRT (Motion Picture Response Time).

They come integrated with dual 3W speakers that can deliver enhanced acoustics across a wider range of frequencies, complete with customisable audio profiles.

Dell 24 Plus Monitor (S2425HSM) is available at Rs 11,399, and Dell 27 Plus Monitor (S2725HSM​) costs Rs 14,499.

The Dell 27 Plus QHD Monitor (S2725DSM)​ is priced Rs 22,399, and the Dell 27 Plus QHD USB-C Monitor (S2725DC) is available at Rs 23,699.

Nothing Inc. announces winners of the Nothing Incubator program in India

In July earlier this year, London-based consumer electronics company Nothing Inc. launched the Nothing Incubator program in India.

Interested students had to form a team and submit a one-slide pitch on the theme 'Making Tech Fun Again.'

Teams with winning ideas were promised a Rs 2 lakh cash prize, a winner’s certificate, and the latest Nothing Phone (3). Runners-up will also take home Nothing products and certificates. Finalists showing exceptional promise may be considered for career opportunities with the company.

Now, the company has announced the winners. Team Connection, comprising SIBM Pune students Atmarani Mohanty, Abhishek Chauhan, and Riya Garg, came up with an innovative concept for STEM learning enhanced by augmented reality (AR). It can turn textbooks into interactive vernacular learning experiences for students.

Their winning proposal was lauded for its clarity and a clear identification of existing educational pain points, demonstrating a deep understanding of how to blend cutting-edge technology with practical & engaging applications.

“The Nothing Incubator program reaffirmed what we’ve always believed - India is a powerhouse of creative, unfiltered talent. We received an incredible response, with so many bold and original ideas coming in from students across the country. Team Connection's idea perfectly embodied the spirit of the challenge - it was bold, addressed a real-world problem, and made learning fun again through smart use of augmented reality. We’re proud to see students not just dreaming big, but designing ideas that can truly make tech fun again,” said Akis Evangelidis, Co-founder and India President of Nothing.

Connection from Symbiosis Institute of Business Management (SIBM), Pune, will take home Rs two lakh cash prize, Nothing Phone (3) devices, winner certificates, and an exclusive interview opportunity with the Nothing India leadership team.

The first runner-up, Team f20221844 from Birla Institute of Technology & Science (BITS) Pilani, Hyderabad Campus, will receive Nothing Phone (3a) Pro devices and certificates.

The second runner-up, Team Elevators from the Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Lucknow, will be awarded Nothing Phone (3a) devices and certificates. The winning team has also secured an interview opportunity with Nothing India.
