Technology companies Samsung, Portronics, OnePlus and others launched premium smart TVs, projectors, smartphones, accessories, and more this week (January 5-11, 2026).

The new Samsung TV flaunts a 130-inch Micro RGB display. It is said to support the widest and most detailed colour spectrum ever seen in Samsung TVs to date.
It comes with a minimalistic design language with a near-zero bezel as seen in Samsung's Frame series TV. A micro-sized RGB light source promises unprecedented picture quality, with each microscopic red, green and blue diode shining independently to produce colour in its purest, most natural form.
It also boasts of Micro RGB AI Engine Pro, which enables precise control of RGB colours and creates overwhelmingly vivid picture quality in every scene.
It comes with HDR10+ ADVANCED technology, can deliver enhanced brightness, genre-based optimisation, intelligent motion smoothing, advanced local tone mapping and improved gaming experience.
Further, it supports the Vision AI Companion (VAC) feature, which offers personalised recommendations to the owners on what to watch or listen to on the TV.
For sports enthusiasts, Samsung TV features AI Soccer Mode Pro, which delivers a more exciting gameday experience through AI-driven picture and sound tuning to stadium-level quality. The AI Sound Controller Pro lets users raise or lower the volume of the crowd, commentary, or background music, providing a personalised listening experience for TV shows and movies. Users need not use the remote at all; they can simply make verbal requests to control the TV.

It boasts a 5300-lumen LED light source, which promises to deliver bright, vibrant visuals that remain clear even in rooms with ambient lighting.
The projector features a 1080p full HD native resolution (1920 × 1080) to ensure sharp details, balanced colours, and a more natural viewing experience.
It supports projection sizes of up to 100 inches on the walls to offer large, immersive screen viewing experience.
Beem 560 is Netflix-certified and supports all popular OTT platforms available in India, such as YouTube and Prime Video. Users can stream content directly on the projector, removing the need for external streaming sticks or additional hardware.
Beem 560 supports dual-band Wi-Fi and Bluetooth, ensuring stable and reliable wireless connectivity. It is equipped with USB, HDMI, and AUX ports, enabling seamless connections with laptops, gaming consoles, set-top boxes, soundbars, and other compatible devices.
The projector also supports wireless screen mirroring, allowing users to cast content effortlessly from smartphones, tablets, and laptops over Wi-Fi.

OnePlus Turbo 6 series.

OnePlus, earlier this week, launched a new line of Turbo 6 series phones in China.
It comes in two variants-- OnePlus Turbo 6 and Turbo 6V. They feature almost the same design and even key features such as display, camera and battery. But, differ in terms of processor and RAM+Storage configuration.
The new OnePlus Turbo 6 and 6V feature a 6.78-inch 1.5K (2772×1272p) AMOLED display and come with Oppo's crystal shield glass, in-display fingerprint sensor, infrared sensor, dual-SIM slots, a type-C port and IP66/68/69/69K water-and-dust resistant rating.
One key difference between the two is that the standard Turbo 6 supports 165hz refresh rate, and the 6V supports 144hz.
They also boast of a dual-camera module-- a main 50MP rear camera (with f/1.88 aperture, OIS: Optical Image Stabilisation) with a 2MP (f/2.4) monochrome camera with LED flash on the back. It can record up to 4K quality video at 60 frames per second (fps).
On the front, they feature a 16MP (f/2.4) for selfies and video calling. It can record full HD 1080p videos at 30fps.
Both devices run Android 16-based ColorOS 16 and come with a massive 9000mAh battery with 80W SuperVOOC fast charging.
The standard Turbo 6 features a 4nm class Qualcomm Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 octa-core chipset with Adreno 825 GPU, 12GB / 16GB LPDDR5X RAM, and 256GB / 512GB UFS 4.1 storage.
Whearas the Turvo 6V houses a 4nm class Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 octa-core silicon with Adreno 810 GPU, 8GB / 12GB LPDDR4X RAM, and 256GB / 512GB UFS 3.1 storage.
The OnePlus Turbo 6V and Turbo 6's prices start at ¥1899 (approx. Rs 24,396) and ¥2299 (roughly Rs 29,535), respectively.
Galaxy Book6 Pro series.

Also, it comes with Samsung Care+, which offers comprehensive coverage for accidental damage, repairs and replacements, so users can focus on work, creativity and connection with confidence.
Samsung Galaxy Book6 Pro was showcased at the just-concluded Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2026 in Las Vegas. The price of the device will be revealed during the local launch events in the coming weeks.
Intel Core Ultra Series 3 chipset.

Intel earlier this week showcased a new class of Intel Core Ultra X9 and X7 processors at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2026 event in Las Vegas.
They come packed with the highest performing, integrated Intel Arc graphics. They are purpose-built for multitasking and can handle advanced workloads like gaming, photo or video generation through Artificial Intelligence apps.
The top SKUs feature up to 16 CPU cores, 12 Xe-cores and 50 NPU TOPS (trillion operations per second), and deliver up to 60 per cent better multithread performance, 77 per cent faster gaming performance and up to 27 hours of battery life.
