Annual Swalath at Jokatte Idgah Masjid

Discourses will be delivered by scholars as a part of the annual Swalat at Idgah Masjid, Jokatte, on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of Swalath Majlis started by Marhoom Fakruddin Ustad.

Addressing reporters in Mangaluru on Monday, Jamaat president B H Mohiyuddin Sharif said that the annual day will be held at Idgah Masjid on October 18 after Magrib Namaz. Discourse programmes have been started on October 12 and will be held till October 17. On October 17, Food and Civil Supplies and Wakf Minister Zamir Ahmed Khan will be the chief guest.

On October 18, The valedictory programme will be held at 9 pm at Idgah Maidan after Swalat organisers meet and read dua. The function will be presided over by B M Moidin Sharif. Mohiyuddin old Juma masjid Khatib K M Usman Musliar will inaugurate. Urban Development and Housing and District In-charge Minister U T Khader will be the guest.

Swalat committee convener T A Muhammed Nasir said that a Kootuziyarat will be held after Asar Namaz on October 18. Contributions can be sent before October 18.

Igdgah Masjid Khatib Abdullahi Naeemi, committee vice president Amir Khasi and general secretary Hyder Abib Rehman were present in the press meet.
