BJP questions 'AAP-Cong relation'

BJP questions 'AAP-Cong relation'

An angry BJP on Tuesday questioned the AAP’s coalition with the Congress after Delhi Assembly polls in 2013 and slammed Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal for alleging collusion between the saffron party and the Congress.

Responding to Kejriwal’s remark that the BJP and Congress have a husband-wife kind of a relationship, city BJP chief Satish Upadhyay said: “Kejriwal must tell the people of the country what should we call the relations between AAP and Congress in 2013.”

It was high time that Kejriwal understood that he may no longer be able to fool the people, he said.

Upadhyay said the nation has seen the “engagement, marriage, honeymoon and separation” of Kejriwal’s AAP and the Congress in 2013-14.

During that  alliance with the Congress to form a Delhi government, Kejriwal burnt all 370 pages of documentary evidence against Sheila Dikshit government, said Upadhyay.

He said the repeated parleys and back door support extended by Kejriwal to Congress leaders  Sonia Gandhi and  Rahul Gandhi are evidence of the Kejriwal-Congress bond.

“There have been reports that the Nitish Kumar-Lalu Prasad-Congress alliance in Bihar was also worked out by the Delhi Chief Minister,” said the BJP leader.
