Ticket aspirants wait with bated breath in Mudigere

Ticket aspirants from BJP for Mudigere, are waiting with bated breath as the names have not been announced in the second list of candidates as well.

As the first list of candidates announced by the party, did not mention about Mudigere, the aspirants and the party workers were waiting for the second list. But, the constituency is not been mentioned in the second list as well.

Mudigere constituency is reserved for the candidate belonging to SC/ST and former legislator M P Kumaraswamy, Deepak Doddaiah, Zilla Panchayat members Sringeri Shivanna, Banakal Shyamanna, former Deputy SP P Dharmaiah are in the list of aspirants. The rumour has it that a retired IAS official will be fielded for the elections.

Adding to the confusion, a like-minded group of BJP has conducted meetings in Aldur and Mudigere, regarding the selection of the candidate. Even though the fray is open for the submission of nomination papers, the dilly-dallying attitude of the party for the announcement of candidate has increased tension in the party.
