<p> Four men, including two constables and a railway contractor, were arrested for allegedly abducting and robbing an employee of a cargo company in central Delhi. <br /><br /></p>.<p>Police said the four accused were arrested on Thursday. A senior police officer said that three weeks ago, the cargo company’s employee Rishi Chand Yadav collected a parcel containing mobile phones and Rs 50 lakh from New Delhi railway station, which was sent from Allahabad in Prayag Raj Express.<br /><br />When Yadav was going to deliver the parcel to Paharganj, four men posing as police constables accosted him. <br /><br />“He was forcibly taken towards Faridabad in a black car and was abandoned in Surajkund near Faridabad. They threatened him to keep quiet about the incident,” the officer said. Yadav was carrying the parcel in a rickshaw when the four men surrounded him, police said.<br /><br />More than a week later, Yadav approached police and a case was registered against the four suspects. After a tip-off on Thursday, three of the four accused were arrested near Badarpur in outer Delhi. <br /><br />At least Rs 12 lakh has been recovered from the other three accused. A car and three mobile phones were also seized from them. <br /><br />The fourth accused, who is a Delhi Police constable, was caught later. <br /><br />Police said that he was already under scanner for robbing Rs 1.45 lakh and a car, which was used in commission of the crime. “He was posted at the police control room in north-east zone,” a police officer said. <br /><br />Police said the other arrested constable works with Haryana Police. One of the other accused was earlier arrested in criminal cases, including those under the Arms Act.<br /> “He used to impersonate as a Haryana Police Crime Branch official,” the senior police officer said.</p>
