A preparatory meeting in this regard was held at Shishu Kalyana Samsthe Hall in Madikeri on Monday.

Meals will be offered to devotees on all the days of the sacred fire ritual. Cultural programmes will also be held. Performances by Shankar Mahadevan and Shivamani will be the highlights of the cultural programme.
