Boy dies as wall collapses on him

A five-year-old boy died at Konanduru in Thirthahalli taluk, when the wall of his house collapsed on him due to heavy rains.

Police said that the deceased is Masood, son of Ayub, a daily wage worker.

Deputy Commissioner K A Dayananda visited the boy's family and gave them a cheque for Rs 5 lakh as relief.
