MUMBAI: Describing it as "boss of the segment", BMW India on Thursday launched the all-new BMW X5 which has supreme sporting prowess, outstanding off-road capabilities and driving comfort.
Legendary sportsman and cricketing icon Sachin Tendulkar launched the BMW X5 in Mumbai in presence of Dr Hans-Christian Baertels, president, BMW Group India.
"It is bigger and better, it has grown in all dimensions...it is boss of the segment," said Baertels.

Tendulkar a recipient of Bharat Ratna, the highest civilian honour, said that this is one car that you can take anywhere.
When Baertels asked him about his experience in driving the car, Tendulkar said: "You feel like a boss....it is a bit of a boss on the road."
The BMW X5 is now available at two diesel models - BMW X5 xDrive30d Sport at Rs 72,90,000 (ex-showroom) and BMW X5 xDrive30d xLine at Rs 82,40,000 (ex-showroom).
The petrol variant BMW X5 xDrive40i M Sport priced at Rs 82,40,000 (ex-showroom) will be available later this year.
