Manish Maheshwari is new Twitter India MD

Twitter India on Monday appointed Manish Maheshwari as its Managing Director. Reporting to Maya Hari, Twitter’s vice president and managing director of Asia Pacific, Manish will be responsible for driving an integrated business strategy to accelerate Twitter’s audience and revenue growth in the country.

A statement from the social networking platform said that Manish will oversee Twitter India’s teams in Delhi, Mumbai and Bengaluru. He will be based in Delhi.

India is one of the fastest growing audience markets globally for Twitter. A campaign is currently on to boost conversations and audience engagement on the platform by forging partnerships with brands, agencies and publishers.
