SAP launches two new biz tools

The Business Intelligence and Enterprise Information Management (EIM) solutions are enhanced versions of Business Object suite of solutions.

SAP Senior Vice President (Solutions-Asia Pacific) Simon Dale said they offer wide range of capabilities to customers to suit their individual needs and perspectives and would be available on all major mobile devices like iPhone, BlackBerry, Nokia, Windows and Android.

The new solutions also enable businesses to capture data from social networking sites and analyse them either individually or as part of business data. Since solutions are targeted at enterprises that handle more data, they will not be SaaS (Software-as-a-Solution) offerings, Dale said. India Head (Business Analytics) Maneesh Sharma said SAP was working with 20 channel partners in India to distribute its BI solutions.
