<p>An under construction site caved in near New Extension Road, near Raja's Seat, Madikeri. The workers were digging a ten feet deep pit when mud fell on them and covered them. Two bodies have been recovered so far.</p>.<p>The deceased have been identified as Gowramma and Yashoda. Another worker is shifted to the hospital. His name is Masha Bovi. Six people were working at the site in total.</p>.<p>Another labourer called Padma was buried neck deep in mud but her husband pulled her out.</p>.<p>There were no safety measures in place. The site belonged to a person called Subbaiah.</p>.<p>Circle inspector Anoop Madappa said, "Six people were working at the site. They were digging a ten feet deep pit for the foundation. We are yet to figure out all the details."</p>
