As many as 250 management students got spot offers at Igniting Minds - Job Fair 2018, jointly organised by the management department of Bangalore Central University (BCU), Canara Bank School of Management (CBSM) and Lions Club International District 317F Region.

A total of 1582 final-year management students who took part in the job fair appeared for the online assessment test. Of this, 1200 qualified for the interview round.

“As many as 250 offer letters were handed over to students on the spot. Due to a large number of students who were lined up for interviews with recruiters, they could not complete the full interview process. So students were given alternative dates. Recruiters have committed to informing the organisers on the status of the interview process,” Sasha Kulothungan, programme coordinator, told DH.

A total of 3701 students from the first-semester of postgraduate commerce and management courses also attended two separate business sessions to get industry exposure and gain tips on how to equip themselves to face corporate careers. Resources persons from financial and banking services addressed the gathering.
