A hotel staffers party eventually landed them at the police station after they sneaked into the prohibited Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) area near CV Raman Nagar in Byappanahalli on the night of October 1.
They not only tried to trespass into the premises but also assaulted a security guard and supervisor who objected to their entry.
Police said that after the party these staffers threatened the security guard to allow them to go inside.
When he refused, they assaulted him. The guard called the security supervisor but the trio assaulted him as well. Later more men came to catch them and locked them in the room before alerting the police.
Residents of New Thippasandra, the arrested have been identified as Mahesh, Devanand and Prem. All three were produced before the magistrate and remanded to judicial custody.
