To promote academic collaboration between India and Israel, an Israel Centre was inaugurated at the Indian Institute of Management- Bangalore (IIM-B) on Sunday.
The centre was inaugurated by the Ambassador of Israel to India, Daniel Carmon. Similar to Bengaluru, Israel too, has an economy based on innovation and the start-up industry, Carmon said. He said the centre will bring the two countries closer and added that more student exchanges should be encouraged.
The chairperson of the centre is Prof Abhoy K Ojha, who works in the Organisational Behaviour and Human Resources Management area, at the institute.
