Two fall to death in separate incidents

Two persons died after they accidentally fell from an under construction site in separate incidents in Mahadevapura and Electronic City.

Shiva Suneel Kumar, 24, a civil engineer and a native of Hyderabad, fell to his death from an under-construction building in Hoodi, near Mahadevapura, on Saturday at around 9.30 pm.

The police said Kumar was working with a private construction company. On Saturday night, while he was supervising an apartment construction work, he lost his balance and fell down from the 12th floor.

He was rushed to a hospital where the doctor declared him brought dead.

Following a complaint filed by S Chockalingam, the father of Kumar, the police filed an FIR against MS Elite Engineering and Construction Company, managing director, Guruswamy, directors Arumugam, Srinivas and project heads Ravichandra, manager Purselvam and other engineers, Saravana, Janaprakasan and Kumar.

In another incident, a 67-year-old man accidentally fell from the fourth floor of an under construction site in Electronic City on Monday.

The police said the victim, Cheluvaraju, a native of Tamil Nadu, was staying in the city with his family and two sons for the past two years.

On Monday, at around 6.30 am, he was removing the centring work when he slipped fell from the fourth floor.
His son rushed to a hospital where he was declared brought dead.

The Electronic City police booked a case against building owner Manjunath for negligence and not taking safety measures.
