Lucknow bench of HC to be no-access zone

"The HC has been sanitised and it would be a no-access zone tomorrow as only authorised persons will be allowed to enter the court premises," District Magistrate Anil Sagar told newspersons here today.

He said only those lawyers, whose cases are listed, would be allowed entry, besides senior advocates, government counsels, standing counsels and the Advocate General.
"Barring them, entry of all persons will be banned," the DM said.

He said roads around the HC would be sealed and certain traffic diversions will be in force.
"Normalcy will be maintained in the city and there is no order for closure of schools, malls and markets," Sagar said adding only those market having weekly closure tomorrow would remain closed.

"To give information to the media about the court's verdict, a person authorised by the HC will brief at the collectorate. Parties related to the suits and their counsel will also reach here to answer media queries," the DM said.

He appealed to the media to cooperate and not allow rumours to spread.
"I appeal to the media to avoid rumour mongers as this issue has nation-wide repercussions and any rumour may result in reaction," he said.
He said mobile phones will not be allowed inside the court number 21 which will deliver the verdict.

"Arrangements have been made under which once a person enters the court, he or she will not be allowed to leave untill and unless the verdict is delivered. This arrangement has beenmade to maintain order outside the court," he said.
