The Commissioner directed the police to complete the investigation process of the cases involving Itask Software Development Private Limited managing director A C Srinivas and Manohar H Soni. It is alleged that the two were allegedly involved in cheating the genuine land owners, sources in the police department told Deccan Herald.
A few persons allegedly received compensation cheating the genuine land owners when the KIADB acquired their land to set up special economic zone. Two complaints about cheating involving Rs 1.24 crore and Rs 1.17 crore were lodged in 2009. It was alleged that the police did not investigate into the complaints due to political pressure.
Moreover, a complaint was lodged against the minister Katta Subramanya Naidu’s son and BBMP member Katta Jagadish. However, the police submitted B report to the court and concluded the case.
