Advocates protest constable's 'misbehaviour'

 Advocate Srinivas alleged that constable Muniswamy abused him while he was parking his vehicle in front of DDPI’s office. The constable continued to be rude even after the lawyer furnished him the details of his visit, he complained.

As a mark of protest against this, the lawyers boycotted the proceedings of the court and staged a dharna. President of the Advocate’s Association A Lakshmi Narayana, vice-president L Nagaraj, secretary Basavarajappa, treasurer Munegowda, joint secretary C Narayana swamy and other advocates took part in the protest. The protesters later on submitted a memorandum to the headquarters assistant K M Chandregowda, urging to take action against a police constable.
