<p>Speaking on the sidelines of a event held to felicitate Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister K Rosaiah in Bangalore, Moily said, “The situation is extremely deplorable in the State. They (BJP) are solely responsible for the crisis in the State”.<br /><br />To a query on JD(S) National President H D Deve Gowda’s remark that the UPA government had turned a blind eye to the political crisis in the State, Moily said the Congress central leadership was monitoring the situation closely and will act as per the demands of the Constitution.<br /><br />“We are watching the entire developments closely. We have not closed our eyes”, he said.<br />Moily riduculed the BJP’s demand to amend the anti-defection law. <br /><br />“Those who defied the same law to bring MLAs from other parties into their own party are suggesting it. It is laughable,” he said.<br /><br />On the dais, while showering accolades on the AP Chief Minister, Moily took a dig at the horsetrading currently happening in the State. He said the MLAs should take a leaf or two out of Rosaiah’s “clean” image. <br /><br />“Those who are making crores of rupees and becoming MLAs should look at Rosaiah’s clean, clever and patient image,” he remarked.</p>
