The event is popular among management students and industry folks alike as it has become one of the most talked about events in South India.    Premier institutions like IIMB has extended its support and is all set to collaborate with PESIT in conducting a competition called Next Big Idea which is based on Innovative Business Proposition.

Prof Vijaya Lakshmi, a senior faculty member of the department, feels that this is the path-breaking event and PES is leading in the path of innovation among Indian B-Schools.

PESIT aims at creating a niche for MBA students and is taking care of the progress of society and nation at large by creating awareness on potential business sectors. The institution is hopeful about a large number of footfalls and retail participants in this event.

Nearly 5,000 students from the institution as well as 3,000 students from other colleges are expected to witness the mega event. The centre of attraction will be Next Big Idea, in which more than 100 participants will take part.
