The clocks are manufactured by by HMT and run on solar energy. The clocks chime for every one hour from 5 am to 10 pm. The total cost involved in the installation of these clocks is ` 3.4 lakh. Deputy Commissioner has suggested fixing another clock on the other side of the tower too, it is learnt.
