JOIN USLove Guru director Prashanth Raj tries to teach an increasingly urban, young audience some of the vital gospels of love and life in this fast-paced feature, with some smart moves on the floor to groovy beats. Bringing his mission to a successful end are his favourite actors - Radhika Pandit, Tarun Chandra and Dileep Raj.
Gaana Bajaana sets a sizzling pace from the word go. There are some moments that threaten to insert boredom and some others which leave some unanswered questions: what happens to the rebuffed don? for instance. But this is a love story between Krish (Tarun) and Radhe (Radhika) which is handled better than some recent similar takes. Dileep, like in his previous outing, is pivotal to the plot and his tapori act is endearing. Joshua clearly has had a ball composing the score with cameraman Sekar joining in.
