Speaking after inaugurating the expo, Manipal Institute of Communication Honorary Director Dr M V Kamath said Kannada as a medium of instruction has limited scope in comparison with English language. The limitations of Kannada language is confined only to Karnataka state. English as the medium of instruction gives ample opportunities for employment, he added.

Ethnic fabrics, kurtas, artistic sarees, traditional utensils, home accessories, curtains, stationary, bags, terracotta products, jute products, organic food products, lavancha products, organic manure, wooden furniture are some of the products displayed in the exhibition.
