Sundaramurthy (55), of Hiriyur was killed on the spot when the bike he was riding toppled in Alur village near the town. The accident occurred as he attempted to avoid a dog which came in the way of his bike.
A lorry cleaner was killed near Metikurke in the taluk as a truck rammed against a stationary lorry.
Raju (30) sustained grievous injuries as a Haryana registered lorry rammed into a truck parked on the roadside.
He died during the course of treatment at the Hiriyur general hospital.
Samiulla (35), a cleaner, succumbed to injuries sustained when he fell from the top of a lorry.
The incident occurred while he was loading onion to the vehicle in Maradidevigere village, police said. Samiulla died on the way to district hospital at Chitradurga.
