Ayodhya: Shia Muslim Personnel Board for out-of-court solution

Last Updated 03 November 2010, 09:30 IST

"Although some people who do not accept the verdict of the Allahabad High Court over the Ayodhya issue may approach the Supreme Court, I appeal that no differences should exist in (people's) hearts. That's why efforts should being made for an amicable out-of-court settlement," national president of All India Shia Muslim Personnel Board Mirza Mohd Attar said.

"If people are satisfied with the verdict then it is alright and those who are not satisfied may go to court, whose doors lie open. (But) there should not be quarrel among people and both sides should not harbour any ill-feeling," he said, talking to reporters at Kaiserganj.

He said that he hoped just as the verdict of the Allahabad High Court enabled peace to be maintained, order would be maintained following the Supreme Court's ruling too.
