KPCC for mid-term poll

He told the reporters that the political atmosphere has vitiated due to cheap political games of the ruling party. He said: “MLAs have become tradable commodities in the State. To put an end to this we expect mid-term polls.”

However, he was quick to add, the Congress was not intending to destabilise the government.

He admitted that the State Congress leaders are in deep slumber and that the connectivity between the party and people has collapsed. “We have to re-build this connecting bridge. I am making the Congress men to wake up. I am confident that I will do it,” he stated. The Executive Committee of KPCC will be constituted soon in consultation with the high command. The party has not been able to form the panel for the last 13 years.

Parameshwara said the Congress will give priority to youth in contesting the upcoming ZP and TP elections.
