Technical snag in scoreboard leaves spectators clueless

When Tim McIntosh got to his century with a single off Harbhajan Singh, none in the stands applauded as they had no idea that the Kiwi had completed his century.

It was only after the New Zealand opener raised his bat towards the dressing room that the crowd realised that the batsman had reached his hundred.

"The machine (LED) or the giant screen took off live feed and except NEO Sports nobody is allowed to take live feed. The match referee won't allow that and that's why it was not working today," said a Hyderabad Cricket Association (HCA) official.

"All of us are working on the problem and would hopefully sort out the problem by tomorrow," he said.
