TP resolves to conduct survey on crop loss

The meeting was held under the chairmanship of Taluk Panchayat President Seethamma. Members S S Sanjay and Suma Nagesh said that crops have been damaged due to the heavy rains. Whether the government order has reached TP to conduct survey on the loss? he asked.

Taluk Panchayat member B S Sathish said most of the paddy crops have been damaged in the rain.

Horticulture department Assistant Director Thotaiah said “compensation will be paid if the loss was more than 50 per cent,”. The meet decided to conduct a survey on the loss of crops.

Inspection in govt hospital

Taluk Panchayat members also decided to inspect the purchase of medicine and its distribution at government hospital on Monday.

Taking note of the failure of the forest department officials to attend the TP meeting, member B S Sathish said owing to the non co-operation by the forest department officials, a single ashraya colony could not be laid in the last four years in the taluk.
