Speaking at a ceremony organised by the Kannada Development Authority here on Saturday to honour 66 lower court judges, who delivered judgments in Kannada, he said that local language would be introduced in all courts in the State akin to Tamil Nadu, Kerala and Odisha.
Expressing his happiness over the initiative taken by the judges to deliver judgement in the local language, the Chief Minister said, “Last year, 50 judges were honoured. This year it is 66. I am happy to see the increase in the number,” he said.

He congratulated Justice Arali Nagaraj for delivering the judgement in Kannada in the High Court.
