The awards were announced in the two-day NASSCOM organised "Diversity and Inclusivity Summit 2010", which commenced here today.

Other winners of gender inclusivity awards were Conjoin (best emerging company), Kale (best company with less than 1,000 employees) and Nokia (most innovative programme).
The winners were selected by an independent jury, comprising Hema Ravichandar, N R Narayana Murthy, Rekha Jain, Som Mittal and Vinita Bali.

"Our diversity strategy has become one of our most potent competitive weapons and the benefits to IBM's bottomline as a result of employing a more diverse workforce have been dramatic," said IBM Vice-President Chandrasekhar Sripada and Head HR-India/South Asia
