<p>Soon after the Cabinet meeting on Thursday, Tourism Minister Janardhana Reddy is said to have told a section of his ministerial colleagues that it was only a matter of time before Yeddyurappa would be forced to step down. <br /><br />“Nitin Gadkari might have succeeded temporarily in saving Yeddyurappa, but I will unseat him from the Chief Minister’s post,” Reddy is said to have told his close associates.<br /><br />Reddy is understood to be unhappy with the Chief Minister playing the Lingayat card for his survival during the recent crisis.<br /><br />Besides, Reddy has accused Yeddyurappa of leaking the “Ashok Sharma CD” to the media. The CD, aired by TV channels recently, purportedly shows Reddy striking a deal a self-proclaimed power broker identified as Ashok Sharma to unseat Yeddyurappa. <br /><br />Reddy is keen that Health Minister B Sriramulu be made Deputy Chief Minister, and his close associates Raju Gowda and Varthur Prakash be inducted into the Cabinet.</p>
