Sale of sim, currency suspended in Ch'nagar

This has put the mobile phone users into a lot of inconvenience.The customers are approaching dealers for recharging their cellphones with address proof.

But the companies are not ready to take the responsibility of accepting any documents as there are incidences some miscreants have furnished false proof of address to obtain the sim cards.

This had put them to trouble, as the police had arrested two mobile shop dealers in Yalandur two recently.

The private dealers have demanded that customers should be held responsible for furnishing any false address proof or any misuse of sim cards.

The cellphone companies should give in writing regarding protection. Until then they would not sell the sim cards or recharge currency for the customers.
