The guard is absconding. <br /><br />In another incident in Sadashivanagar, thieves struck at the house of Pawan Kumar, a priest at the Tirumala Tirupathi Devasthanam, and made away with valuables worth Rs 2 lakh, including gold ornaments and Rs 40,000.<br /><br />Police said that the theft happened on Monday night. Kumar’s family was out of town since Saturday.</p>
