YCC ride on Vinay's ton

Vinay’s big hundrd and half-centuries from Naveen (82) and Nirmith (50) allowed Young Challenging to post a mammoth 376 for eight from their 50 overs. Despite a battling 100 from Zuber, Garfield were rolled over for just 190 with 15 overs of their reply left unutilised.

In another match, Alim scalped four wickets and Abdul Rahman struck an unbeaten half-century to power Oriental Cricket to a seven-wicket victory over Merchants Cricket Club (I).

Alim first laid the foundation for Oriental victory when his four wickets for 35 helped dismiss Merchants for 168 in 43 overs.

Rahman then smashed a brilliant unbeaten 83 as Oriental coasted home in just 29 overs.
