The First Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate Venkatesh Hulagi today passed the order committing the case to session court.

The ACMM court also furnished copies of the chargesheet to the 19 accused arrested, including Madani.

Madani was arrested from his orphanage-cum-madrasa in Anwarassery in Kerala on August 17 and subsequently brought to Bangalore.

The blasts in July, 2008 left one dead and 20 others injured. Madani was also an accused in the 1998 Coimbatore serial blasts in which 58 people were killed. However, he was acquitted by the trial court.
