JOIN US'Put on your party shoes'
Taking the stage on February 13 at Palace Grounds, Bryan will be performing some of his greatest hits like Summer Of 69, 18 Till I Die and Everything I Do, I Do It For You as well as the songs from his latest album Bare Bones. Bryan will also be performing in New Delhi, Mumbai and Hyderabad as part of the tour.
Announcing this information to the media in the City was Sujit Jain, the head of Netsurf Entertainment, which is bringing the rockstar to the country. Also presented at the event were Bollywood star Sunil Shetty, his wife Mana Shetty and choreographer and socialite Sharmila Khanna. “It is our debut event so we are extremely excited,” said Sujit. On being asked why did he choose Bryan Adams, who has already performed thrice in the City, he said, “Bryan’s music is enjoyed by people of all ages. His concert will surely be the best singalong concert. So what if he has performed in the City many times? There are plenty of people, who have not heard him before, and would love to hear him play.” He added, “And as always, Bangalore has given us the best response as the maximum number of tickets have been sold from Bangalore so far.”
A percentage of the corporate/VVIP ticket sales will be donated to Mana Shetty’s Save The Children India NGO. “This charity was founded my mother more than 20 years ago. We have a wonderful school in Mumbai for special and underprivileged children,” explained Mana.
A short video of Bryan’s latest concert in Lisbon was played. With millions of fans screaming out for him, this video sure did give one a feel of how upcoming show would be. A recorded message of Bryan was played in which he said to ‘put on your party shoes’ as he is going to rock the stage in the City soon.
