Reclaim your money, Vinivinc Shastry tells depositors

Speaking at a press conference in the city on Monday, Vinivinc Shastry said that depositors can file their claims with the Office of the Assistant Commissioner and Competent Authority, 5th floor, Visvesvaraya Main Tower, Dr Ambedkar Veedi, Bangalore.

Shastry said that a petition has been made in the Supreme Court to gather complaints from all districts, so that the money could be returned to the depositors.

He said that people with receipts of deposits and documents can collect a form the office of advocate A M Bhasker at No 2099, Basaveshwara Road, Near 101 Ganapathi Temple, Agrahara.

Relevant documents need to be duly-filled and sent to the office of the competent authority.
 With around ` 85 crore asset being in the hands of the Supreme Court, Shastry said that around ` 29 crore has to be returned to the people.

Around 20,000 people had earlier invested nearly ` 200 crore in the company, that was later shut down on charges of fraud.

Asked if Vinivinc would be back in business once all the settlements take place, he said that his first priority is to resolve all the cases and start afresh.
