Special trains to clear extra rush



Ernakulam-Bangalore City-Ernakulam Weekly Express Special (Train no. 0641/0642) will leave Ernakulam at 6.40 p.m. on Mondays and reach Bangalore City at 8.30 a.m. the next day. In the return direction, it will leave Bangalore City at 5.15 p.m. on Tuesdays and reach Ernakulam at 4.20 a.m. the next day. The first service from Ernakulam will be on July 6 and the last service will be on July 27.

The train will run from Ernakulam junction via Always, Trichur, Palghat, Podanur, Tiruppur, Erode, Salem, Tirupathur, Kuppam, Bangarpet, Whitefield, Krishnarajapuram and Bangalore Cantonment to reach Bangalore City.

Another special train to Ernakulam, Ernakulam-Bangalore City-Ernakulam Weekly Express Special (Train no. 0643/0644) will leave Ernakulam junction at 9.15 p.m. on Thursdays and reach Bangalore City at 10 a.m. the next day. In the return direction, it will leave Bangalore City at 6.50 p.m. on Fridays and reach Ernakulam junction at 6.30 a.m. the next day.

The first service from Bangalore City will commence from July 10 and the last service will be on July 30. The train will run from Ernakulam junction via Always, Trichur, Palghat, Podanur, Tiruppur, Erode, Salem,Tirupathur, Kuppam, Bangarpet, Whitefield, Krishnarajapuram and Bangalore Cantonment to reach Bangalore City.

Extension of services

In addition to that, the services of four special trains have been extended: Kacheguda-Bangalore City-Kacheguda Weekly Express Special (last service from Kacheguda extended till September 27); Patna-Bangalore City-Patna Weekly (last service from Patna extended till September 22); Howrah-Mysore-Howrah Weekly Express Special (Last service from Howrah extended till September 11) and Howrah-Yeshwantpur-Howrah Weekly Express Special (last service from Howrah on July 28).
