A joint declaration on international terrorism, adopted after the 11th India-EU summit here, said: "EU and India stand united in combating threats to international peace and security by terrorist acts."
Without naming Pakistan, the joint declaration says that the two sides "denounce those who sponsor, abet and provide terrorists safe havens".
Prime Minister Manmohan Singh arrived here Thursday at the head of an Indian delegation to attend the summit with the 27 nation European bloc.
