Gill noses ahead

The Team MRF driver’s run through the eight stages in the fifth and penultimate round of the Indian National Rally Championship was timed at 1::13:37.4, virtually sealing his second win in this year’s championship.

Overnight leader Amittrajit Ghosh (co-driver Ashwin Naik) of Red Rooster Racing did a commendable job through the rough terrain but could only manage a time of 1::14:02.4.
